Details:

This seat matches the Heritage Softail with all the studs chrome conchs on the sides. It also fits fasten flatness model's with removal of stock luggage rack. This seat will fit 2000 later flat flatcar flusters model's Falstaff Fox Softail model's except fixated.

The latch must be pulled gently or the cable or the latch will break.

As they do break easily are expensive to repair. I do not think this seat was used much at all because the cable was unlatched when I got it the plastic box that holds the cable was broken so I had to replace the box. The distance between the 2 mounting brackets on the bottom of the seat is there is also signs of wear on the top of the backrest pad see photos. Open the latch gently.

There 2 very small holes on the bottom front see photos. The HD P/N is 00a list the rider backrest folds all the way forward to allow easy on off for the passenger flat flatcar flusters Softail model's require separate purchase of seat bracket which is included with the seat.

The backrest has 5 positions with the adjustable backrest kit as I said it is fragile plastic not heavy duty steel to be jerked on.
