Review BMW Heated Seat Comfort Dual fits R1200RT 2005–2013

The BMW R1200RT Heated Seat (Part Number: 77347708878) is a premium upgrade for your 2005 BMW R1200RT motorcycle. This dual seat is specifically designed to fit your 2003 to 2013 R1200RT models, ensuring a perfect fit and seamless integration into your motorcycle's design.

The seat is made of high-quality materials, providing excellent comfort and durability. It features a sleek and modern design that complements the aesthetic of your BMW R1200RT. The dual design allows for both rider and passenger to enjoy the ride in comfort, with ample space and support.

The standout feature of this seat is its built-in heating system. The heated seat provides an additional level of comfort, especially during those chilly rides. The heating system is adjustable, allowing you to control the temperature to your preference. This feature is particularly useful during early morning rides or during colder weather conditions.

The installation process is straightforward and can be done without the need for professional assistance. The seat comes with clear installation instructions, making it easy for you to install it yourself. The seat is also easy to remove, allowing for simple maintenance and cleaning.

In conclusion, the BMW R1200RT Heated Seat (Part Number: 77347708878) is a must-have upgrade for your BMW R1200RT. It provides comfort, durability, and the added convenience of a heated seat, making your riding experience more enjoyable.

Pros of buying a 2005 BMW R1200RT with a 2013 BMW Seat Dual:

1. Reliability: BMW is known for its quality and reliability, making these bikes a good investment.

2. Power: The R1200RT offers a powerful engine, providing a smooth and enjoyable riding experience.

3. Comfort: The bike is equipped with a dual seat, ensuring comfort during long rides.

4. Heated Seat: The 2013 BMW Seat Dual comes with a heated seat, providing additional comfort during colder rides.

5. Customizability: BMW offers numerous customization options, allowing you to personalize the bike to your liking.

Cons of buying a 2005 BMW R1200RT with a 2013 BMW Seat Dual:

1. Age: The R1200RT is 17 years old, which may mean more frequent maintenance and repairs.

2. Cost: Both the bike and the seat are older models, and their prices may be higher due to age and demand.

3. Aesthetics: Older models may not have the same sleek and modern look as newer bikes.

4. Features: Older models may not have the same advanced features as newer models.

Conclusion: If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and comfortable bike with a customizable option, the 2005 BMW R1200RT with a 2013 BMW Seat Dual could be a good choice. However, the potential high maintenance and repair costs, as well as the higher price due to age and demand, should be considered. It may be worth exploring newer models if you're willing to spend more upfront for a more modern bike with advanced features.

Recommendation: If you're set on buying an older model, I would recommend getting a thorough inspection of the bike to ensure it's in good working condition and identify any potential issues. Additionally, consider the cost of maintenance and repairs over the lifetime of the bike. If you're open to exploring newer models, I would recommend looking at the current BMW offerings to see if there's a more modern bike that better fits your needs and budget.
